You probably thought I was dead since I hadn't updated in forever. I apologize for the lack of updates, but the past couple of months have been hard to deal with. I had to go through a procedure to see if I had a certain kind of cancer that runs in my family, lost my grandmother and one of my aunts, and learned I may potentially be the only one in my family to have a job. At least my procedure found that I'm cancer free which I am deeply thankful for, and I am also grateful that even if I become the only one with a job, my family should be safe monetarily (although it still worries me because I don't know if the rest of my family will have health coverage). The past months have been very difficult, but now I'd really like to move on and get back to the things that I enjoy.
I am also looking into replacing my computer that's older than dirt before it falls apart, but I don't know if I should wait for Windows 7 or switch to Mac (which I never thought I would even consider, but Vista has greatly encouraged me to switch.). I was hoping to wait until I replaced my computer before I continued work on the website, but I don't know...I have also been considering getting a new laptop besides replacing my computer, considering the laptop I have is powerful enough to run Word or the Internet and...uh....well, that's about it. That was enough to take notes in class in college, but now it's more an archaic bulky Notebook that collects dust in my cabinet. But as anxious as I am to have a new computer and a new laptop, I am still deciding between Windows or Mac (or Linux?...meh. I probably don't have the patience to figure Linux out). I don't want to make an impulse decision which I would regret and would cost me a couple thousand, so I'm still sitting on it.
So that's the situation at the moment. Hopefully I can buy new equipment soon, and the next time I update I will have something for you. I think I may also change my email address to something in gmail because the one I currently have is kind of a pain to use.
Again, I am sorry for the lack of updates, and I will try to get things rolling again soon. |
